What I’m Loving

Reads

The Beach by Alex Garland – the movie adaptation was filmed in Maya Bay, Thailand, which I missed so dearly as I was reading this! A wonderfully compelling book that makes you think about insanity and the facade over perfection.

Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury – One of my favorite books. It’s a beautifully written dystopian novel. Initially assigned to me for a class, but it’s ideas have stuck in my head and I always think about it.

Peak by Roland Smith – The book that inspired me to go to Everest Base Camp. It’s a childrens’ book, but I find it to be such a great adventure story! It’s my favourite book and my friend just bought me a copy so I can be inspired to adventure anywhere 🙂
